How to reverse stage 3 kidney disease?

My brother's kidney disease has progressed to stage 3, and we are all very anxious. The doctors are saying it's serious. Is there any possibility to reverse stage 3 kidney disease or at least stop it from getting worse?

Man, keeping up with kidney diets is harder than my night shifts! Stage 3 kidney disease is serious and you can't just 'reverse' it overnight, but you can definitely stop it from getting worse. Just follow your nephrologist's advice blindly, cut down on salt, and stop drinking energy drinks to stay awake.

Stage 3 kidney disease requires very precise medical management under a certified nephrologist. Please do not try any self-treatments or alternative medicines, as they can put heavy load on your kidneys and cause sudden failure. Keep a strict check on your blood pressure, blood sugar, and GFR levels through regular laboratory tests.

Look, with Stage 3 CKD, your goal is stability, not a magical reversal. You need to work with a clinical dietician to limit sodium, potassium, and phosphorus based on your blood reports. Control your diabetes and hypertension strictly because they are the main culprits that damage kidneys further.

My father is managing Stage 3 kidney issues, so I know how stressful it is to plan meals with restricted protein and salt. What helped him was staying very consistent with his water intake as advised by his doctor, and eating simple, freshly cooked home food. Please support your loved one emotionally, it makes a big difference.

Please consult a qualified nephrologist immediately. Stage 3 kidney disease is a serious medical stage that needs expert supervision rather than home remedies.
