How to reverse non alcoholic fatty liver?

My recent medical check-up showed I have non-alcoholic fatty liver. I'm quite concerned about my health. What steps can I take to reverse non-alcoholic fatty liver, are there any dietary changes that help?

Please don't take too much stress about this, because our body has an amazing power to heal itself when we keep a calm mind. Just focus on eating clean, simple ghar ka khana and doing some light walking every day. Stay positive and take care of your body, everything will fall back into place gradually.

Beta, in our days we kept liver healthy by avoiding heavy, oily foods completely. You can try having warm water with a little lemon in the morning, and add some amla to your diet as it is very good. But do make sure to consult your doctor before starting any strong home remedies, especially if you have other issues.

Honestly, metabolic issues like fatty liver and thyroid need constant tracking. I got my liver function tests done along with my routine thyroid panel because everything is linked. Please get a proper ultrasound and blood tests done every six months as advised by your doctor to see if your lifestyle changes are actually working.

My physician explained that fatty liver is basically excess fat stored in liver cells, mostly due to refined carbs and a sedentary lifestyle. He told me there is no magic medicine, and the only proven way to reverse it is losing 7 to 10 percent of your body weight. He strictly asked me to avoid simple sugars, especially fructose, and do 150 minutes of moderate exercise weekly.

Listen, I literally panicked and lost my sleep when my ultrasound showed Grade 2 fatty liver last year. But my doctor smiled and said it is very common and completely reversible. I just cut down on bakery items, cold drinks, and fast food, and within six months my liver reports came back absolutely normal. You will be totally fine!

I was diagnosed with this about fifteen years ago when my diet was very careless. Take it from my experience, the liver is a very forgiving organ if you treat it well on time. Just reduce your rice portions, walk for 30 minutes daily after dinner, and avoid sweets. I reversed mine completely and at 67, my liver is still doing great.
