How to reverse fatty liver?

Just got my checkup results and the doctor said I have fatty liver. I'm a bit overweight, but this came as a surprise. What can I do to reverse this condition?

Fatty liver is highly reversible, especially in grade 1. Focus on cutting out alcohol, deep-fried foods, and high-fructose syrups from your diet. Regular physical activity and gradual weight loss are the most practical ways to clear the liver fat.

Hey, don't stress too much about it! A lot of my friends got this in their routine health checks. Just cut down on the weekend beers and oily food, and start moving a bit more. It gets sorted easily.

Please don't take a fatty liver diagnosis lightly like I did years ago. It can slowly progress to liver inflammation if you don't make immediate changes. Get an LFT done and consult a gastroenterologist to keep a check on your liver health.

I was diagnosed with mild fatty liver last year and was so scared. I just started cooking my own meals with less oil and going for a 30-minute jog daily. In six months, my ultrasound came back completely clear, so you can do it too!

Fatty liver is primarily a lifestyle condition, but it requires a medical diagnosis to rule out any underlying metabolic disorders. While diet and exercise are the pillars of recovery, a doctor's evaluation is essential to monitor your liver enzymes safely. Do get a proper checkup.

Replacing heavy carbohydrates with green vegetables, pulses, and high-fiber foods was highly beneficial for my liver health. Be cautious about consuming too much heavy ghee or fried foods even if they are vegetarian. Please consult a dietitian for a proper chart.

According to my hepatologist, losing about 7% to 10% of your current body weight is the primary treatment for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. He also emphasized avoiding added fructose, which is highly present in packaged sweets and juices. It's best to follow a structured clinical plan.

Ah, the joys of turning forty! My doctor told me my liver looks too well-fed. Now I have to look at samosas from a distance and drink lukewarm water instead of cold soft drinks. But honestly, dropping some weight really helps.

Consistent cardio and strength training are excellent for burning visceral fat, which includes the fat around your liver. If your doctor clears you for workouts, aim for at least 150 minutes of exercise per week. It really speeds up the recovery process.

I got diagnosed with Grade 2 fatty liver and literally had to stop eating out completely. I stuck to simple home-cooked dal-chawal, limited my portions, and started walking 10k steps daily. My SGOT/SGPT levels came down to normal within four months.
