How to reverse diabetes?

My blood sugar levels have been consistently high, and my doctor warned me about diabetes. I'm really trying to avoid medication if possible. Can I reverse diabetes if I make big changes now?

Beta, in our days we kept diabetes in check by eating on time and having simple home cooked meals. You can try having a spoon of methi seeds soaked overnight in water, it helps control sugar levels. But please don't stop your English medicines without asking your doctor first, both should go hand in hand.

Managing these metabolic issues is such a puzzle, mere saath bhi same problem chal rahi hai with my thyroid. You have to keep getting your fasting blood sugar and thyroid profile tested regularly to see how your body is reacting. A doctor can adjust the exact dose of your medicines based on those reports.

Honestly, even I am constantly checking my glucose levels and worrying about long term effects on my kidneys and eyes. Reversing sounds like a dream but is it really possible for everyone? It is better to get your HbA1c checked every three months and keep consulting a specialist so we don't make things worse.

Medically, type 2 diabetes remission is achievable for some people, but it depends heavily on individual health profiles. A structured plan involving high-protein, low-carb diet under clinical supervision is the most scientific approach. Please consult a qualified endocrinologist instead of trying extreme online detox plans.

For me, lifting weights and hitting my daily step count made a massive difference in insulin sensitivity. Focus on building some muscle and cutting down refined sugar and refined carbs from your daily meals. It is a slow process of building daily habits rather than a quick fix, so keep at it.
