How to reset your liver?

I've been feeling a bit off lately, and someone mentioned I should try to 'reset' my liver. What does that even mean, and how can I do it? Is it like a detox or something?

I totally get it, seeing slightly high liver markers on a report can make you feel super worried. But please know the liver is excellent at healing itself when we stop taking alcohol and heavy fatty foods. Give it a little time.

Instead of buying expensive 'liver detox' juices, just spend about 600 rupees on a basic liver function test first. Show those reports to a local government hospital doctor who can give you practical, low-cost advice.

Avoid alcohol and fried foods completely. A clean diet and doctor's advice are all you need.

I tried various herbal concoctions earlier to clear my liver, but some of them actually gave me acidity. Honestly, just drinking warm water and eating light, home-cooked food works best. Don't burden your system with too many remedies.

Honestly, I had fatty liver last year from eating too much junk. I just stopped drinking beer, cut down on pizza, and walked daily. My reports came back completely normal in four months. No special medicines needed.
