How to reset sleep schedule?

My sleep schedule is completely messed up because of late-night studies and then holidays. Now I can't wake up on time. What's the best way to reset my sleep schedule and get back to a normal routine?

Practicing deep breathing or Nadi Shodhana pranayama for 10 minutes before bed helps calm the nervous system beautifully. It prepares your mind for restful sleep. Try to finish your last meal by 7 PM to let your body wind down naturally.

Resetting our routine takes some time, haan na. If you try to sleep early suddenly, you will just keep staring at the ceiling. Try shifting your bedtime slowly by 15 minutes every night, it works much better.

I know how exhausting and lonely it feels to be wide awake at 3 AM while the whole world is sleeping. It really ruins your mood the next day. Please be gentle with yourself, these habits take time to change.

I used to panic thinking I have chronic insomnia when my routine got completely messed up during exams. But once I started waking up at the same time every morning, my night sleep got back to normal in a week. Just stay consistent and don't worry.

My grandmother always suggests drinking warm turmeric milk before sleeping to relax the body. But honestly, if your sleep issues are severe or due to shift work, discussing it with a doctor for a structured plan is the best way forward.

Honestly, my sleep cycle is so broken that even my alarm clock has given up on me! The only thing that occasionally works is forcing myself to stay awake the whole day so I pass out early the next night. It is hard but sometimes necessary!

While lifestyle adjustments are the standard approach, persistent sleep issues can sometimes point to underlying conditions like sleep apnea or anxiety. If simple routine changes do not help within two weeks, consulting a specialist is highly recommended.

I have been struggling with late-night scrolling and waking up late. Is it safe to try over-the-counter melatonin tablets to reset my cycle, or should I definitely visit a doctor first?
