How to remove fever naturally?

I prefer using natural remedies whenever possible. If I have a fever, what are some effective natural ways to bring it down without resorting to medication? I've heard about some home remedies, but I want to know what truly works.

I get so worried when trying natural remedies for fever because what if the infection worsens while we wait? Please be very careful and keep a thermometer close by to monitor the temperature constantly. If it crosses 101 or 102, don't wait for natural cures and please consult a doctor immediately.

Haan na, trying to manage a fever without standard medicine can be quite stressful. A simple lukewarm water sponge bath helps cool the body down nicely, ho na. Just make sure you are resting in a well-ventilated room and drinking plenty of warm fluids.

I was researching natural ways to manage mild fevers and saw that herbal teas like ginger or basil (tulsi) water are highly recommended to help soothe symptoms. Does anyone here have experience with using tulsi leaves for fever relief, or is it better to stick to plain water?

Please don't rely on random internet remedies like onion slices on feet or heavy herbal concoctions to cure a fever. These can be useless or even harmful. It is critical to verify your condition with a certified medical practitioner to find the real cause of the fever.

I completely agree that staying well-hydrated with warm water is the most important natural step. Rest is crucial.

While cooling sponges are helpful, my doctor at Fortis clearly advised that a fever shouldn't be left unmanaged if it rises high. It is much safer to visit a proper clinic, get a blood test if needed, and ask your doctor clearly about the best treatment plan.
