How to remove dandruff permanently?

I've been battling dandruff for years, and it always comes back. Is there any way to get rid of dandruff permanently, or is it something I'll just have to manage my whole life? It's quite frustrating.

Before you spend thousands on expensive anti-dandruff salon treatments or high-end serums, just spend 500-600 rupees on a dermatologist consultation. They will give you a targeted medicated shampoo like ketoconazole which is much cheaper and actually works. It saves a lot of money in the long run.

Dandruff won't go away in one day, it takes patience. Wash your hair twice a week with warm neem water, it keeps the dirt away and cleans the head. Keep your mind calm and eat simple home-cooked food, it really helps.

Stop wasting time on basic DIY remedies if you want a real solution. Get your scalp analyzed by a proper trichologist. They will tell you if it's dry scalp, seborrheic dermatitis, or psoriasis, and give you the right medical solutions.

Permanently curing dandruff requires addressing the root cause, which is usually a yeast-like fungus called Malassezia. My doctor explained that dandruff is often a chronic condition that we have to manage, not cure forever. He advised using a zinc pyrithione or ketoconazole shampoo twice a week, leaving it on the scalp for 5 minutes before rinsing.

Exactly, there is no permanent one-time cure, we just have to keep our scalp clean. Regularly washing your hair brush keeps the fungus from spreading back.

I tried every home remedy under the sun for two years trying to cure it permanently. It became so severe that I got painful scabs and lost half my hair density. Please don't be foolish like me, visit a skin doctor early before you damage your hair follicles permanently.
