How to relieve tooth pain from clenching?

I've noticed I clench my jaw a lot when I'm stressed, especially at work, and it's starting to make my teeth ache, almost like a dull pressure. It's becoming a daily issue. How can I relieve tooth pain from clenching?

Actually, clenching is mostly a subconscious stress thing yaar. I started doing simple jaw release exercises before sleeping, like placing a warm cloth on my cheeks, and it made a huge difference.

My jaw got so sore from stress-clenching that I couldn't even bite into a soft roll. I had to live on cold mango shakes and warm soups for two days. Giving your jaw muscles a break from heavy chewing really helps.

Don't stress, this jaw clenching usually happens when you are overworked. Try to consciously keep your teeth apart during the day—just let your jaw hang loose. Put a reminder on your phone if you need to.

I track my sleep and noticed I clench my jaw on high-stress days. Using a simple mouth guard at night protects the teeth from wearing down and prevents that morning jaw stiffness.

I used to wake up with severe toothaches from clenching. A dentist made a custom night guard for me, and the pain stopped completely within a week. It is worth investing in one to save your tooth enamel.

Please get this checked by a dentist. I ignored my clenching habit for years, and it eventually cracked one of my healthy molar teeth, requiring an expensive root canal and crown. Get a mouth guard before damage happens.
