How to relieve testical pain?

I've been having this dull ache down there for a few days now, and it's getting a bit concerning. It's not constant, but it comes and goes. Is there anything I can do to relieve this testicle pain?

I was looking into this topic and learned that testicular pain can be caused by anything from mild muscle strain to infections. Wearing supportive underwear like briefs instead of boxers is often recommended to reduce movement and ease discomfort. However, getting a professional medical opinion is very important.

I had a dull ache down there after a heavy workout session at the gym. Swapping my loose boxers for supportive athletic briefs helped a lot with the discomfort. But if the pain is sudden or really intense, you should definitely skip home remedies and go to a doctor.

When I experienced discomfort, I went straight to a urologist at a reputed hospital. He did a physical check and an ultrasound to rule out any infection or hernia. It is best to consult a specialist clearly rather than trying any self-treatment at home.

Don't feel shy or embarrassed about this, but please pay close attention to the pain. If it's a mild ache, try resting and wearing supportive clothing. But if you have sudden, severe pain, swelling, or nausea, please go to a hospital immediately as it can be a medical emergency.

My urologist explained that testicular pain should never be ignored as it can stem from epididymitis, varicocele, or referred pain from a kidney stone. He advised avoiding any heavy lifting and keeping the area supported. Please see a doctor to get an accurate diagnosis and treatment.
