How to relieve tennis elbow pain?

Since starting those new coding projects, my elbow has been giving me a lot of trouble, especially when I type. Someone mentioned 'tennis elbow' even though I don't play tennis. How can I get some relief from this constant ache?

I got tennis elbow from lifting heavy grocery bags and working on my laptop all day. Wearing a tennis elbow clasp brace just below the elbow joint helped relieve the tension instantly when I had to work. Try to rest your arm and avoid any heavy lifting for a few days.

Gentle wrist extension and flexion stretches can help restore flexibility to the forearm muscles. Do them slowly, breathing deeply, and stop immediately if you feel a sharp pinch. Keeping the mind calm helps the body heal the inflammation faster.

I got this pain from gaming too much on my console during the holidays. Applying an ice pack for 15 minutes a day and doing simple wrist stretching exercises really helped. Just take a break from whatever activity is causing the strain!

Please don't ignore that dull ache in your outer elbow like I did. I kept playing badminton through the pain, and it ended up tearing the tendon, which took six months of painful therapy to heal. Go see an orthopedic doctor or physiotherapist before it gets worse.

While ice packs and braces can help manage the daily pain, it is always safest to get a proper diagnosis from a doctor. They can check if it's actually tennis elbow or a nerve compression issue. Don't start any heavy forearm exercises without professional guidance.
