How to relieve sinus tooth pain?

I've noticed that sometimes when my sinuses are really blocked, I get a strange toothache-like pain in my upper jaw. My dentist said it's probably sinus-related. How can I relieve sinus tooth pain?

I had this exact issue last month and actually thought I had a deep cavity in my upper teeth. In my experience, clearing the sinus congestion with regular steam inhalation eventually made the throbbing tooth pain disappear completely.

If the pain is in your upper back teeth, it is almost certainly sinus pressure pushing down on the dental roots. Go to a dentist first to rule out any actual tooth decay, and if that is clear, an ENT doctor can give you the right decongestant.

I always get so worried when my teeth start hurting during a cold, thinking it's a severe nerve infection that will need a root canal. If you have a stuffy nose, it is probably just sinus pressure, but please monitor it closely. Let's hope it settles down with steam soon.

Bro, sinus tooth pain is literally the worst because you can't even chew your food properly. I usually do warm salt water rinses three times a day to soothe the gums. It doesn't cure the sinus but it definitely makes the mouth feel a lot better.

Oh no, tooth pain from sinus pressure is so uncomfortable! 😭 Try using a warm compress on your cheeks to help relieve the pressure. Drinking warm liquids also helps a lot to ease that heavy feeling! 👍

I haven't slept properly in two days because my upper teeth feel like they are vibrating from sinus pressure. I am just surviving on warm black coffee and steam inhalation right now. Honestly, hoping my nose clears up soon so my jaw can finally rest.

Look, if the pain is only when you have a cold, it is sinus pressure. Take warm steam, drink hot water, and don't drink anything cold. But if the toothache continues even after your nose clears, go see a dentist immediately without delaying.

My doctor explained that the roots of our upper molar teeth lie very close to the floor of the maxillary sinus. So, when the sinus gets inflamed and filled with fluid, it naturally puts pressure on the dental nerves. He recommended steam inhalation and saline nasal drops to drain the sinus first.

Because of my thyroid issues, I have to be very careful with chronic inflammation and sinus build-up. I always make sure to consult my doctor for a proper checkup if this facial pressure and toothache doesn't subside with steam within a few days.

I honestly panicked and ran to my dentist last winter because my entire upper jaw was aching. He took an X-ray and showed me how my sinus cavities were just full and pressing on my tooth roots. Once the cold cleared up, the toothache totally went away.

When I have mild sinus pressure, a light, slow walk in the fresh air actually helps clear my nasal passages and reduces the throbbing in my teeth. But don't do any heavy workouts or bending exercises, as that will increase the pressure in your head.

Haan na, sinus tooth pain is very irritating, it makes your whole face heavy. Steam inhalation is the best way to reduce that pressure. Just take warm steam twice a day and do warm salt water gargles, it will give so much relief.
