Don't panic, severe gas pain can feel extremely sharp and scary, almost like chest pain sometimes. Drink a glass of warm water slowly and try walking around the room for a few minutes to help release the trapped gas. If the pain is very intense and doesn't get better soon, let's get you checked by a doctor.
Severe abdominal pain can sometimes be mistaken for simple gas when it could actually be something like gallbladder issues or appendicitis. It is always safer to consult a doctor if the pain is sudden and extremely intense. Don't rely solely on home remedies for very severe pain.
I have tried so many things for bloating and gas over the years. Drinking warm water with a pinch of hing (asafoetida) and black salt usually gives very quick relief. You can also lie on your back and gently pull your knees to your chest, which helps clear the trapped wind naturally.

Please don't start popping random antacids or drinking heavy herbal mixtures you read about online. If the gas pain is truly severe and accompanied by vomiting, fever, or sweating, it might not be gas at all. Go to a clinic and let a doctor diagnose the issue properly.

Ah, the classic soda-bottle feeling in the stomach! Honestly, just do a slow stroll around your house and let those burps out without feeling shy. If that doesn't work, a warm cup of fennel tea (saunf pani) should help deflate the balloon inside you!
