How to relieve severe back pain?

For the past few months, I've been dealing with really severe back pain. It's getting difficult to do even simple household chores. Can someone suggest ways to get some relief at home?

When the body is in severe pain, it is important to keep your mind calm and positive first. Lie down in a comfortable position, take slow deep breaths, and let the muscle tension release naturally. Take good care of yourself and let the body heal, but do see a doctor if the pain doesn't go away.

For severe back pain, please don't do any heavy work or lift anything from the ground. Apply a warm hot water bottle to your back and lie down on a firm mattress or a clean mat on the floor. If it hurts too much to move, please tell your family and go see a doctor in town.

Severe back pain is the absolute worst, yaar, it literally locks up your whole day. Actually, when my back went into a crazy spasm, I just lay down flat on the floor with my legs bent. Don't try any heavy massage right now, it can make the inflammation worse, just rest and consult a doc.

I am not a doctor, so I won't give any medical tips, but I can share what worked for me during a severe back pain episode. I strictly rested on a flat bed for two days and applied ice packs to the painful area every few hours. It helped reduce the initial sharp swelling before I went for my medical checkup.

I often get lower back pain because of pelvic pressure related to my PCOS, so I know how exhausting it is. I find that a warm heating pad and lying on my side with a pillow helps, but I always avoid intense stretches when the pain is severe. Please be gentle with your body and don't push through the pain.

Honestly, my back is so bad right now that I feel like a 90-year-old grandfather trying to get out of bed. If the pain is severe, just lie down, don't move, and let someone else do all your chores for a day. A hot pack is your best friend, and maybe a long, long nap if the pain actually lets you sleep!
