How to relieve pms pain?

Every month before my period, I get really bad cramps and lower back pain, sometimes it's so severe I can't even get out of bed. I'm tired of taking painkillers. Are there natural ways to relieve PMS pain effectively?

My daughter used to suffer from very severe PMS cramps and mood swings every month. I started making sure she eats soaked almonds and raisins in the morning and avoids high-salt junk food a week before her cycle. It has significantly reduced her bloating and cramps.

In my years of managing family health, I have seen that a hot water bottle on the lower abdomen is the most reliable remedy for menstrual cramps. Drinking warm ginger and tulsi tea also helps relax the uterine muscles naturally. Ensure you get plenty of rest and avoid cold drinks during these days.

My sister gets really bad cramps and backaches before her periods. She swears by a heating pad and drinking chamomile tea to help her sleep. I usually just help out by keeping her room quiet and bringing her warm food so she can rest.

I always worry that my intense PMS cramps might be a sign of endometriosis, which makes me super anxious. But taking a warm water bath and doing very gentle butterfly stretches helps calm my body and mind. Stay strong, and definitely consult a gynecologist if the pain is unbearable.

Haan, PMS pain can really ruin your mood and energy level. Try to avoid too much tea or coffee during these days, na, because caffeine increases bloating. Warm water with ajwain is much better for soothing the stomach cramps.

I agree with using heat therapy. A warm heating pad on your lower back is incredibly effective for relieving dull PMS aches.

Be careful about buying random PMS gummies or hormone-balancing supplements advertised online, as they are often unregulated. If your PMS pain is severe enough to disrupt your daily life, it is much safer to visit a gynecologist who can prescribe proper medical treatment.
