How to relieve pain from sciatica back pain?

I've been suffering from sciatica for months now, and the pain radiating down my leg is debilitating. I've tried physio, but it's not always enough. What other methods can help relieve this intense back pain?

Severe sciatica pain used to spike my blood pressure levels, so managing the pain quickly was very important for my health. I regularized my medical checkups and followed my doctor's prescription for nerve pain. Make sure you keep your lifestyle active but gentle, and monitor your BP regularly.

Please be very careful with online videos showing 'sciatica stretches' because if you have a herniated disc, bending forward can worsen the nerve compression. Always consult an orthopedic doctor or a certified physical therapist who can prescribe stretches based on your specific MRI. Don't risk permanent nerve damage.

My family members suggested some herbal oils for my leg pain, but I preferred to consult our family doctor. He explained that sciatica is due to nerve compression in the spine, which oil massages cannot cure directly. I followed his advice of heat therapy and mild walking, which helped me immensely.

Sending you positive vibes to fight that sciatica pain! 😊 Try using a heating pad on your lower back for 15 minutes, it really helps relax the tight muscles trapping the nerve. Keep your chin up and take it one day at a time!🌸

I know how painful sciatica can be, making it hard to even stand. Please lie down on your side with a pillow between your knees to relieve the pressure on your lower back. I hope you get relief from this pain very soon.
