Oh, I totally get it, sometimes a massage leaves you feeling more sore than relaxed, especially if it was a deep tissue one! It's like your muscles had a workout they weren't expecting. A warm bath with Epsom salts can really help relax those muscles, and some gentle stretching too.

Haha, sounds like your muscles decided to throw a little protest party after the massage! It's totally normal to be a bit sore, especially after a good, deep one. Think of it as a delayed gym workout. A hot shower or bath and just chilling will usually sort it out. Maybe binge-watch something to distract your protesting muscles!

I used to feel so bad after massages, like what did I even pay for if I'm more in pain? It can really get you down, but it's okay to feel that way. It's usually just muscle soreness from releasing knots. Just remember to hydrate and take it easy. Your body is just adjusting.

Post-massage soreness is very common, especially if you had a deep tissue massage or if it's been a while since your last one. It's similar to delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS). The best remedies are hydration, a warm bath or shower, and light movement. If the pain is sharp or lasts more than a couple of days, check with your therapist or a doctor.

I was thinking of getting a massage, but this pain after sounds a bit scary. Is it like a dull ache or more of a sharp pain? And does it depend on the type of massage, or is it common with all of them?

While soreness after massage is often normal, if it's excessive or lasts unusually long, it might be worth mentioning to your doctor, especially if you have any underlying conditions like thyroid issues. Sometimes, our body reacts differently. Always keep up with your regular check-ups to ensure overall well-being.
