How to relieve pain after chiropractic adjustment?

I had a chiropractic adjustment yesterday for my back, and today I'm feeling quite sore and a bit of pain in the adjusted areas. Is this normal, and what can I do to relieve this post-adjustment pain?

Post-adjustment soreness is normal; it's your body reacting. Apply ice packs to the sore areas for 15-20 minutes. Gentle stretching, as advised by your chiropractor, helps. And drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins. If it's severe, call your chiropractor.

My chiropractor always explains that mild soreness is common, like after a workout, because the body is realigning. She recommended using a cold compress for about 15 minutes at a time, staying hydrated, and avoiding strenuous activities for the first 24 hours. If pain persists or worsens, she advised to call her immediately to check for any issues.

Oh, don't worry too much! I totally freaked out after my first adjustment because I was sore and stiff, but my chiropractor said it's totally normal. It just means your body is adjusting. Just take it easy, maybe a warm bath, and trust the process. It should subside in a day or two.

Haan, adjusting ke baad thoda dard hota hi hai, normal hai. Main toh garam paani se nahata hoon, ya phir thodi ice lagata hoon jahan dard ho. Aur haan, chiropractor ne jo stretches bataye hain, woh bhi karte rehna, na?

Post-chiropractic adjustment soreness is a common occurrence as your body adapts to the new alignment. Typically, applying ice to the affected areas and light activity can help. However, always defer to your chiropractor's specific post-treatment instructions, as they are best informed about your individual case and what to expect.

I tracked my soreness levels using a pain diary app after my adjustments. Found that light walking and hydration consistently helped reduce the pain intensity. Also, make sure your sleep posture is good; sometimes a cervical pillow can make a huge difference. Check your chiropractor's app or website for their specific aftercare tips.
