Neck arthritis? Sounds like my kind of problem on a Monday morning. I'm usually just trying to find a comfortable position to sleep, which is impossible with neck pain. Maybe I should try one of those fancy pillows. Or just nap standing up, haha.
I was diagnosed with neck arthritis last year, and it was quite painful. What helped me immensely was regular, gentle neck exercises prescribed by my physiotherapist. Also, sleeping with a proper orthopedic pillow made a huge difference. Don't try to crack your neck; it can make it worse.
Physiotherapy exercises are really effective for this. Consult a good physio.
Oh, that sounds so tough, neck pain is the worst! My aunt has it, and she swears by warm compresses and gentle stretches a few times a day. Also, checking your posture, especially if you work on a computer a lot, can make a big difference. Hope you feel better soon!
