How to relieve lower back pain while sleeping?

Every morning I wake up with a stiff and painful lower back, even though I bought a new mattress recently. It gets better after I move around a bit, but sleeping is becoming difficult. What can I do to relieve this lower back pain while I'm sleeping?

Ugh, waking up with back pain is the worst! I completely get it. What's helped me a lot is sleeping on my side with a pillow tucked between my knees. It helps keep your spine aligned. Also, if your mattress is really old, maybe it's time for an upgrade?

Beti, peeth dard neend mein ho toh bahut takleef hoti hai. Hamare zamane mein toh garam tel ki malish karte the sone se pehle. Aur haan, ek chhota takiya kamar ke neeche rakhke dekho, agar seedhe sote ho toh. Lekin zyada ho toh doctor ko dikhana achha hai.

Honestly, there are a million 'home remedies' online for back pain while sleeping, but how many actually work or are safe? I'd be very skeptical. Best approach is to see a proper physiotherapist or doctor. They can assess your posture and recommend proven solutions, not just guesses.

Beta, kamar dard neend mein bhi bohot pareshaan karta hai, main jaanta hoon. Meri patni ko bhi hota tha. Usne kya kiya ki ek medium firm mattress liya, aur sidha soye toh ghutno ke niche takiya rakhna shuru kiya. Usko bohot aaraam mila tha. Tum bhi koshish karo, theek ho jaayega.

As someone with thyroid issues, I know how interconnected body pains can be with overall health. While sleeping positions and mattresses are important, sometimes underlying issues can contribute. If the pain persists, please get a general check-up, including blood tests. It's always good to rule out other causes with your doctor.

I've tried almost everything for sleep-related back pain! What finally made a difference for me was a memory foam mattress topper and always sleeping with a firm pillow between my knees when on my side. If you sleep on your back, a rolled towel under your lower back helps too. It's all about support.

I used to wake up with terrible lower back pain and really worried. Turns out my mattress was just too old! Once I changed it to a firmer one and started sleeping with a pillow under my knees, the pain reduced drastically. Don't panic, small changes can often help a lot.
