How to relieve herniated disc pain?
I've been diagnosed with a herniated disc and the pain is radiating down my leg, making it hard to walk. Physiotherapy helps, but what else can I do daily to reduce the pain?

Oh, herniated disc pain is absolutely debilitating, I tried everything from hot compresses to weird stretches I found online. Honestly, only proper rest, painkillers prescribed by my doctor, and a very structured physiotherapy routine helped me. It takes time, be patient with your body.
Herniated disc pain is no joke, beta, it's very serious. First thing, absolute rest and no heavy lifting or sudden movements. A good orthopedist or physiotherapist is what you need. They will guide you properly. Don't ignore it.
When I first felt that sharp, shooting pain, I panicked so much, thinking I was paralyzed! Turns out it was a herniated disc. My doctor prescribed bed rest for a few days, muscle relaxants, and then gradual physiotherapy. It felt daunting at first, but with consistent effort, I recovered well. Don't lose hope.
Herniated disc pain can trigger so much anxiety, it's completely understandable to feel overwhelmed. That kind of pain makes you worry about everything. First, acknowledge your pain and fear. Then, please prioritize seeing an orthopedic specialist. They are best equipped to provide a proper diagnosis and create a treatment plan for effective relief and recovery.

Yaar, herniated disc is seriously bad. My uncle had it. Actually, he found some relief by lying flat on his back with a pillow under his knees. And ice packs or heat, whatever felt better, for short periods. But he had proper physio and meds, na. You can't just fix this with home stuff.
