How to relieve extreme lower back pain?

Been having this extreme lower back pain for the past few days; it's making it difficult to even stand or sit for long. My desk job isn't helping. What can I do to get some relief?

Extreme lower back pain is a red flag, please don't take it lightly. I once thought it was just muscle strain and ended up with a slipped disc that needed months of physio. You MUST see a doctor, preferably an orthopaedic or a spine specialist, to get a proper diagnosis. It could be something serious.

Extreme lower back pain can be so frightening and debilitating, it's completely valid to feel worried. First step is definitely seeing a doctor to rule out anything serious. While you wait for your appointment, gentle heat packs or cold packs, whichever feels better, might offer some temporary comfort. Rest as much as you can.

Lower back pain, my old friend! It's like a constant companion these days. 'Extreme' sounds serious though, so don't just 'sleep it off' like I sometimes try to. 😂 Get yourself to a doctor. Meanwhile, a good hot water bag and maybe stretching gently on the floor might help, if you can even move.

Oh god, 'extreme' back pain sounds terrifying. Does anyone else get really scared when the pain is so bad you can barely move? I get anxious thinking about what it could be. It's so hard to relax. Does resting truly help if it's that bad, or should one always rush to the ER?

Uff, extreme back pain is no joke! It can really mess up your whole day, or week even. First thing, please see a doctor, especially if it's so severe. For temporary comfort, a hot water bag is my go-to, and try to find a comfortable position to lie down in. Hope you feel better soon, it will pass!

For extreme lower back pain, time is of the essence. Book an appointment with an orthopaedic doctor or a physiotherapist immediately. Don't self-diagnose. While waiting, use a hot or cold compress (whichever brings more relief) for 15-20 minutes. Avoid sitting for long periods. Take a walk if you can, otherwise, rest.

I really regret ignoring my persistent back pain once, thinking it was just fatigue. It escalated into something that required long-term treatment. For 'extreme' pain, you simply cannot delay seeing a doctor. Get it checked thoroughly. Don't rely on temporary fixes, find the root cause.

Extreme lower back pain is definitely not the time to be trying random remedies from the internet. This kind of pain needs professional medical assessment. Go to a doctor, get a diagnosis, and then follow their prescribed treatment. Don't risk serious complications.
