How to relieve deltoid pain?

After a heavy workout session at the gym yesterday, my shoulder, especially the deltoid muscle, is really sore and painful. I can barely lift my arm. Any tips to relieve this deltoid pain quickly?

I can only share what helped me when I had shoulder pain, not specifically deltoid. Rest, gentle stretching, and sometimes an ice pack. But if it's persistent, a doctor or physiotherapist is best to guide you properly.

Deltoid pain sounds like it's in the shoulder area, right? Is it common after working out? I hope it's not serious. What kind of stretches are safe for it?

Deltoid pain can be really nagging. I've tried a few things for shoulder aches: warm compresses before stretching, cold packs after activity, and a pain-relief balm with menthol. Gentle range-of-motion exercises are key, but only if they don't increase the pain.

For deltoid pain, using a foam roller for your upper back and shoulder can sometimes help release tension. There are also apps that provide guided stretching routines for shoulder mobility. Just make sure the exercises are gentle and don't exacerbate the pain.

Oh, I had deltoid pain after trying a new gym routine, it was so annoying! What really helped was giving it complete rest for a few days, then slowly introducing very light stretches and using a pain relief gel. Don't push it too much, and listen to your body.

Deltoid pain, huh? Sounds like your shoulder needs a vacation! Seriously though, sometimes just giving that muscle a break and applying an ice pack for 15 mins can do wonders. Don't try to be a superhero and lift heavy with a sore shoulder!
