How to relieve chest pain after vomiting?

Last night I had a really bad bout of vomiting, and ever since, my chest feels very sore and painful. It's a dull ache, not too sharp. What can I do to relieve this chest pain after vomiting?

Dude, that sounds rough! Chest pain after vomiting usually just means your muscles are sore from all the straining. I've had it after a bad stomach bug. Try taking it easy, maybe some sips of water. If it gets worse though, definitely call a doc, don't take chances.

Hey there. It's quite common to feel some muscle soreness in the chest and abdomen after intense vomiting, as your body exerts a lot of force. Try to rest, stay hydrated with small sips of water or ORS. If the pain is severe, constant, or you have trouble breathing, please don't hesitate to consult a doctor immediately.

Don't panic! I've been there, thought I was having a heart attack after throwing up really hard. Turns out, it was just my chest muscles aching from the effort. Give it some time, take deep breaths slowly. If it doesn't get better in a few hours, then yeah, see a doc.

Ugh, the joys of vomiting! Your poor chest muscles must be having a party they didn't sign up for. It's like an involuntary ab workout, but way less fun. Definitely rest up, maybe a warm compress? But if you start feeling like an elephant is sitting on you, call your doc, okay?

Yaar, vomiting ke baad toh body poori toot jaati hai. For chest pain, a warm towel applied gently on the area can sometimes provide comfort. Sucking on ice chips or small sips of ginger tea can also settle the stomach a bit, reducing further strain. But if the pain is severe or something feels off, please don't self-treat.

While chest pain after vomiting can be due to muscle strain, it's always good to be careful. I have thyroid issues and know how important it is to keep track of any unusual symptoms. Monitor yourself, and if it persists or feels severe, a doctor's checkup is wise, especially to rule out anything else.

Hi everyone, this sounds quite scary. Does anyone know if this kind of pain is always just muscle strain, or could it be something else sometimes? I hope you feel better soon, OP. What helps you feel a little less nauseous usually?
