How to relieve back pain from sitting at desk?

My job requires me to sit at my desk for almost 8-9 hours a day, and lately, my back has been constantly hurting. I've tried adjusting my chair, but the pain persists by the end of the day. What can I do to relieve back pain from sitting at a desk all day?

I'm always researching this because I spend so much time at my desk too. So many people suggest ergonomic chairs, but they're so expensive! I'm trying to find more tips like, how often should we actually get up? And what kind of stretches are best for quick breaks?

Ugh, the desk pain is real! I try to keep a cushion behind my lower back, and I actually set a timer on my phone to remind me to stand up and stretch a bit every hour. Even just standing for a minute helps so much. And a warm bath after a long day is a lifesaver!

I used to have really bad back pain from my desk job. What helped me personally was getting a standing desk converter, so I could switch between sitting and standing. Also, I started doing light exercises in the morning. Not medical advice, just my experience.

Back pain from sitting is common, but as someone with diabetes, I'm always mindful of overall health. Regular movement is key, but also ensure your diet supports bone and muscle health. Avoid sugary snacks that can cause inflammation. Maybe small healthy breaks are better than long unhealthy sitting.

This is a question that comes up a lot, and for good reason! The best advice I've seen is to get up and move every 30-45 minutes. Even just a quick walk to get water helps. Also, check your chair and desk height – often simple adjustments make a world of difference. Don't forget to hydrate!

For desk sitting back pain, try gentle desk yoga. Simple neck rolls, shoulder shrugs, and seated spinal twists can release tension. Also, focusing on your breath, deep belly breaths, can help relax the entire spine. Just a few minutes every hour can make a big difference.
