How to relieve back pain after waking up?

It happens almost every morning – I wake up and my lower back is stiff and aching. It usually gets better after moving around a bit, but that initial pain is quite uncomfortable. Any tips on how to relieve back pain after waking up?

Waking up with back pain can be very annoying. I always try to do some very gentle stretches before even getting out of bed, like knee-to-chest. Also, for good overall health including bone and muscle strength, a balanced diet low in inflammatory foods is important. If it's persistent, a doctor's visit is needed.

Ugh, the worst feeling! Don't stress too much, most people get this sometimes. Try to stretch gently before you even get out of bed. Maybe a hot shower helps too. And check your pillow and mattress, they might be the culprits!

Oh, I totally get it! Waking up with back pain just ruins the start of your day. It makes you feel stiff and tired. Maybe try a small pillow between your knees if you're a side sleeper, or under your knees if you sleep on your back. Hope it helps you feel better.

My son used to complain about this too. We realized his mattress was too old and saggy. Changing to a medium-firm mattress made a huge difference. Also, teaching him some simple morning stretches helped. Make sure your pillow supports your neck properly as well.
