How to relief throat pain?

My throat has been very sore and painful for the last two days, probably due to a cold. Swallowing is a real struggle. What can I do to relieve this throat pain so I can at least eat comfortably?

Oh god, throat pain is the worst, seriously. I remember one time I couldn't even swallow water, it was so bad. It really affects your mood and everything. Just take it easy, it will pass, just focus on keeping yourself comfortable.

For throat pain, warm saline gargles really help. Also, avoid cold drinks and spicy food for a few days. If it persists or you develop a fever, it's always best to consult a doctor, they can identify the cause and give proper medication.

I get throat infections sometimes, especially when my immunity feels a bit down because of PCOS. I usually stick to warm water and herbal teas. Don't push yourself too much if you feel weak, rest is super important.

Yaar, throat pain hai toh adrak-tulsi wali chai piyo, garam pani se garare karo. Thanda paani aur fridge ka sab avoid karo. Zyada ho toh doc ko dikha do, kyuki kabhi kabhi infection badh jaata hai.

Ghar pe haldi wala doodh bana ke piyo, garam-garam. Bahut farak padta hai. Aur namak ke paani se kulla karna mat bhoolna. Kuch din khana bhi thoda naram hi khana, oily, spicy cheezein avoid karna.

Mere saath bhi hua hai, I swear I just wanted to sleep through the whole thing. The worst part is waking up in the middle of the night with that scratchy feeling. Try some warm honey water, it actually coats your throat and gives a little relief.

My ENT doctor once told me that along with warm gargles, staying hydrated with plain water and avoiding anything that irritates the throat (like smoke or very dry air) is key. He also suggested sucking on lozenges to keep the throat moist, especially at night.
