For temporary relief from tooth pain at home, warm salt water gargles are very effective. You can also apply a small amount of clove oil on the affected tooth with a cotton swab; it acts as a natural numbing agent. Avoid very hot, cold, or sugary foods. But this is just to manage until you see a dentist.

Tooth pain is very difficult, beta. In our times, we always used to put laung ka tel (clove oil) on the tooth, it brings good relief. Also, warm water mein namak daal ke kulli karna is very important. But remember, this is for temporary comfort only, you must show it to a proper dant ka doctor.

While waiting for a dental appointment, you can try over-the-counter painkillers like Ibuprofen or Paracetamol, as advised by your GP. Also, keep the area clean by gently rinsing. But for the actual solution, you absolutely need to consult a dentist. Home remedies are only for very temporary comfort.

For toothache, put a small piece of garlic on the painful tooth, they say it helps. And gunguna paani (lukewarm water) with namak to rinse your mouth often. This will give you some peace, but then go to the doctor, beta, they will truly fix it.

At home, for quick relief, I usually take an OTC painkiller like Ibuprofen or use a topical numbing gel. Chewing on the opposite side and avoiding sugary or very hot/cold foods also helps. But honestly, the most time-efficient solution is scheduling a dental appointment immediately.

Tooth pain should not be ignored, especially if it's severe. Like my BP, regular checkups are key to preventing bigger issues. For home, I would say a cold compress on the outside of your cheek can help reduce swelling and pain. But please, call your dentist first thing. Don't wait too long.

Any tooth pain, especially if it's persistent, warrants a visit to the dentist. Home remedies are only for immediate, very temporary relief. If there's an infection or deep cavity, it needs professional treatment. Please don't rely only on home methods, as it could worsen the condition.
