How to reduce the pain in menstruation?

Every month during my period, I get terrible cramps that make it difficult to do anything. My friends say it's normal, but the pain is too much. How can I reduce the pain in menstruation?

Honestly, for me, a hot water bag is a lifesaver. Nothing else works as well. Just a warm bath and resting also helps a lot. I try to avoid coffee during that time too.

Oh god, period pain is the worst! I always panic if the pain is too much, thinking something is wrong. But mostly, it's just normal. Try to stay hydrated and maybe some light stretching? And don't hesitate to take a painkiller if it's really bad, sometimes that's the only option.

My sister also struggles with this, and she was asking me the same thing. I saw some articles online suggesting gentle exercise or yoga, and also eating anti-inflammatory foods. Has anyone tried those? Do they actually work?

Please be careful with all these internet remedies. What works for one person might not work for another, or might even be harmful. If your pain is severe or debilitating, the best thing is always to consult a gynaecologist. Don't self-diagnose.

Ugh, tell me about it, period pain is the absolute worst! What really helps me is drinking warm water throughout the day and trying to avoid cold drinks. Also, a little bit of chocolate helps my mood, which somehow makes the pain feel a bit better too. And yes, a hot water bag is a must!

I'm always super busy with work, so I need something quick and effective. For me, a heating pad or hot water bottle helps immediately. And if it's really interfering with my day, I'll take an over-the-counter pain reliever like Meftal Spas or Saridon. Don't suffer unnecessarily.
