I had terrible shoulder pain for months! What really helped me was a combination of gentle stretching exercises from a physio and regular application of hot/cold packs. Also, sleeping on my side with a pillow under my arm made a huge difference. Don't carry heavy bags on that shoulder!

Oh, shoulder pain sounds really uncomfortable. Is it okay to just put a pain relief spray on it, or should one always see a doctor? And what kind of stretches are safe to try if it's not too bad?

First, identify the cause. Is it posture, injury, or overuse? See an orthopedic doctor or a physiotherapist. They can accurately diagnose and give you a specific exercise regimen. Don't self-treat, it often prolongs the problem.

For mild shoulder pain, home remedies like warm compresses, gentle stretches, and improving your posture can be quite effective. Turmeric milk also helps with inflammation. But if the pain is severe, constant, or restricts your movement, you really must consult a doctor. Don't delay a proper diagnosis.

Having high BP, I know how important it is to keep your whole body healthy. For shoulder pain, sometimes it's linked to posture or muscle stiffness. Regular, light exercise and making sure you're not carrying tension in your shoulders helps. And yes, a doctor check-up is always good to rule out anything serious.

Gentle shoulder and neck rotations, done very slowly and consciously, can bring relief. Also, some restorative yoga poses that open the chest and stretch the shoulders, like child's pose or thread the needle, can be helpful. Focus on your breath while doing them to release tension. Always move within your comfort zone.
