How to reduce psoriasis naturally?

My psoriasis flares up quite often, and I'm looking for more natural ways to manage it, as I'm worried about continuous medication. My neighbour suggested some herbal remedies. What can I do to reduce psoriasis naturally?

Hey, don't stress too much about the patches, it only makes the flare-ups worse! Just try applying pure virgin coconut oil or aloe vera gel to keep the skin hydrated and soothe the itch. Definitely see a dermatologist too, but for now, keep your skin happy and moisturized.

Regular exercise like light jogging or yoga helps lower stress hormones, which is a major trigger for psoriasis flare-ups. Just make sure you shower with a gentle, soap-free cleanser right after your workout so sweat doesn't irritate the patches. Keep your hydration levels high.

Managing inflammatory skin conditions can be tricky, especially with hormonal issues. I find that reducing gluten and dairy in my diet sometimes helps reduce general body inflammation, but it's not a guaranteed cure. Always consult a skin specialist for a proper diagnosis.

I totally get it, dealing with dry, itchy patches can be emotionally and physically draining. Applying oatmeal paste or taking a lukewarm oatmeal bath can bring instant, soothing relief to the irritated skin. Please take care of yourself.

I know how hard it is to face people when you have visible patches, and how much it affects your self-esteem. It is completely okay to feel down, but please remember you are not alone in this. Focus on keeping your skin moisturized and gentle healing.

My psoriasis became severely infected because I tried too many unverified natural home remedies instead of medical treatment. If your skin is cracking, bleeding, or extremely painful, please don't rely only on natural methods and see a dermatologist immediately.
