How to reduce pimple pain and swelling?

I have a really big, painful pimple on my chin that's also quite swollen. It's very noticeable and hurts when I touch it. What can I do to reduce pimple pain and swelling quickly before an event?

Pimple pain is so annoying! Try applying ice wrapped in a clean cloth to reduce the swelling.

Don't touch or try to squeeze it, that only spreads the infection and leaves dark scars. Use a tiny dab of salicylic acid gel or benzoyl peroxide on the spot at night. If it's a huge cystic acne, icing it for 2 minutes helps reduce the throbbing pain.

No need to buy expensive high-end face washes for a single pimple. Just use a basic, gentle cleanser and apply a tiny paste of sandalwood or neem powder mixed with water. It costs almost nothing and dries up the swelling naturally.

Hydrocolloid pimple patches work great for this! They protect the area from bacteria and absorb the excess fluid overnight, reducing the bump size significantly. You can easily find them on most health and pharmacy apps.

Does anyone else get those deep blind pimples that don't have a head but hurt so badly when you touch your face? I always worry they will turn into permanent scars. I am trying to put warm compress but I'm super nervous.

haan, use bilkul pop mat karna, nahi toh bada nishaan ban jayega na. Ice lagao thodi thodi der mein, usse red swelling kafi kam ho jati hai. Aur thoda oily food kam khao ek-do din.

Just wash your face with plain cold water and avoid applying heavy makeup or creams over the pimple. It will settle down naturally in a couple of days.
