How to reduce pain without medicine?

I get frequent headaches and sometimes knee pain, but I don't want to rely on painkillers all the time. My mother always suggests natural remedies. Are there any effective ways to reduce various types of pain without taking medicine?

I read an article about how deep breathing and mindfulness actually block pain signals to the brain. It sounds fancy, but apparently focusing on your breath can lower muscle tension, which helps with mild aches. Quite interesting to try out.

First, take a deep breath and rest your body. If it is muscular pain or a headache, a simple cold or warm compress works wonders depending on what feels better. But listen, if the pain is severe or sudden, please don't avoid medicine or a doctor.

Sometimes just lying down in a quiet, dark room and closing your eyes for an hour can really ease a bad headache. Hope you feel better soon.

Drinking warm turmeric milk or herbal ginger tea can help reduce inflammation naturally. Keeping your diet light and clean also helps the body heal faster. Just ensure you are resting well and not pushing yourself too hard.

A good warm water bath or hot fermentation works so well for body aches, ho na. It completely relaxes the tight muscles. Try that and just get some good sleep tonight.
