How to reduce pain during sex in females?

I've been dealing with pain during sex for a few months now, and it's quite frustrating. My gynae said it could be dryness, but didn't give much advice. Are there specific things I can try to reduce this discomfort?

My partner faced this initially and we realized we were rushing into things too fast. Spending more time on foreplay to ensure she is fully aroused and relaxed makes a huge difference. Also, using a good water-based lube from the chemist is a total lifesaver.

Pain during intercourse (dyspareunia) can stem from various physical causes like infections, vaginismus, or hormonal dryness. You should consult a gynecologist at a reputed clinic for a proper pelvic examination. Do not try self-diagnosing as it requires targeted medical advice.

I agree with using a water-based lubricant. It minimizes friction completely and makes the whole experience much more comfortable.

Look, if sex is hurting, you need to stop doing it and talk to your partner. Don't tolerate pain just to please someone else. Use a good lube and go slow, but if the pain is deep inside, get an appointment with a gynecologist immediately.

Honestly, if you are both stressed or tired after a long day at work, your body is going to be super tense. Try to relax first, maybe listen to some music, and don't hesitate to use lube like it's free. It makes things way smoother!
