How to reduce pain during sex?

My wife has been experiencing a lot of pain during sex recently, and it's affecting our relationship. We're not sure what could be causing it. Is there anything we can do to make it more comfortable for her?

I used to face this issue and realized that rushing into it without proper arousal was the main culprit. Spend more time on foreplay and use a generous amount of water-based lubricant. Also, changing angles can relieve pressure on sensitive spots.

Persistent pain during intercourse should not be ignored as it can be a sign of pelvic inflammatory disease or infections. My wife consulted a specialist at Fortis Hospital who identified a mild yeast infection that was causing the discomfort. Please see a gynecologist for a proper diagnosis.

In our times, women were too shy to speak about these things, but it is a very common issue. The main thing is to communicate with your partner and not force yourself when in pain. Stressing about it only tightens the muscles more.

Honestly, sex in movies looks so effortless, but in reality, you sometimes need a bottle of lube and a manual! Just use a good quality water-based lubricant and tell your partner to go slow. There's no race to finish, so take your time!

I completely understand how frustrating this can be. Sometimes, deep pain can also happen near your period due to pelvic congestion. Try changing to positions where you can control the depth, and keep things very gentle.

I have been facing this deep ache during intercourse recently, and it's making me really anxious about intimacy. Has anyone else felt this kind of sudden pain? I am planning to see a doctor but wanted to know if this is common.

I totally get it, painful intercourse can really take an emotional toll on you and your relationship. Please don't suffer in silence or feel guilty about it. Take a break from penetration, focus on other ways of being intimate, and consult a kind doctor who understands.
