Beta, with age I have realized that our bodies need proper time to recover, we cannot rush it. A simple mustard oil massage with a little garlic heated in it works wonders for muscle soreness. Don't worry, just give your muscles a rest for a couple of days and you will be absolutely fine.

Yaar, muscle pain is so annoying, actually simple stretching helps a lot. I usually just use a foam roller on my legs and back after a long day of traveling. Also, make sure you are drinking enough water because dehydration can trigger bad cramps out of nowhere.

Excuse me, I have been feeling a lot of tightness in my calf muscles after walking for just fifteen minutes. Is it safe to use a heating pad directly on it, or should I rest it completely? I don't want to make it worse by doing the wrong thing.

I have tried everything from Epsom salt baths to turmeric milk for my body aches over the years. What works best for general muscle pain is soaking in warm water and keeping myself well hydrated. Try drinking warm water with a pinch of ginger powder, it really helps soothe the pain.

Please don't keep ignoring the pain thinking it will go away on its own. I once ignored a persistent calf pain assuming it was just a muscle pull, but it turned out to be a severe strain that took months of physiotherapy to heal. If the pain lasts more than 4-5 days, go to a doctor immediately.
