Listen, don't push yourself to do heavy work when you are in so much pain. Just take rest, put on some comfortable clothes, and try taking a warm water shower to relax your muscles. If the pain gets too unbearable, please tell me or talk to a doctor, okay? No need to suffer quietly.

Honestly, a hot water bag is your best friend during these days. I also start having warm ajwain water two days before my period starts, and it really reduces the intensity of the cramps. Don't skip meals even if you feel bloated, eating light warm food actually helps a lot.

My sister literally acts like she is fighting a war every month, so I get the struggle! Just curl up like a burrito in your bed and let the hot water bag do its magic. And hey, chocolate might not cure the pain completely, but it definitely helps you not hate the world for a few hours.

I used to ignore my severe cramps thinking it's normal, but my gynecologist at Apollo explained that chronic pain shouldn't be neglected. They did a quick scan to rule out cysts and suggested a safe pain management plan. Please consult a proper doctor instead of trying random remedies.

First of all, stop drinking ice cold water and soft drinks during your cycle, it only makes the spasms worse. Get a good heating pad and just lie down for a bit. If you are regularly having extreme pain that stops you from working, stop searching for home remedies and get an ultrasound done.
