My joints have been aching more and more as I get older, especially in the mornings. What are some good ways to reduce joint pain? It's becoming difficult to do simple tasks.

Joint pain can stem from various causes like uric acid, wear and tear, or vitamin deficiencies. It is always best to consult an orthopaedic doctor to get blood tests done, rather than trying random remedies at home.

Does anyone else get severe knee and finger joint pain when the weather changes suddenly? It makes me worry if it is early arthritis. Should I go for a proper test or is this normal cold weather stiffness?

Hello, I have started experiencing pain in my ankle joints recently. Can anyone suggest if simple warm water soaking helps, or does joint pain always require medical painkillers?

You can apply a pain-relief gel or use a hot water bag to soothe the joints temporarily. However, if you have swelling or redness along with the pain, please see a doctor as it could be an active inflammation.

In our times, we used to gently massage hurting joints with lukewarm sesame oil infused with a little garlic. It gives great relief from cold wind pains, but do not apply too much pressure on the bone.
