How to reduce herpes pain?

Hi everyone. I've been having these herpes outbreaks recently and the pain is just becoming unbearable. Does anyone have any practical tips or home remedies that can help reduce the discomfort? It's really affecting my daily routine.

Wear loose cotton clothes to prevent any rubbing against the skin, as friction makes the pain worse. You can apply a cool, damp compress to the area for 10 minutes to soothe the burning sensation. Make sure to keep the area clean and dry.

You can try applying pure aloe vera gel directly from the leaf to cool the burning skin. But if the pain is unbearable or you get a high fever, please do not rely on home tips and see a doctor immediately.

Oh, I know it hurts so badly right now, but hang in there! Don't stress too much because stress actually triggers and delays the healing. Just wear your comfiest pajamas, watch a movie, and let the doctor's medicine do its work.

Is the pain spreading or staying in one spot? Please make sure you wash your hands thoroughly after touching the area because it can spread to other parts of your body. Maybe check with a dermatologist for safe pain relief?

I read that taking warm baths or using a cornstarch paste can help dry out the sores and relieve some itching. However, it's very important to avoid popping any blisters to prevent secondary bacterial infections.

My friend had this and he couldn't even sit down comfortably. He said soaking in a warm tub of water with baking soda helped soothe the burning. Just try to wear super baggy clothes and rest as much as you can.

Actually, nerve pain from shingles or herpes can be brutal, yaar. Don't apply random strong antiseptic creams directly on the sores, it burns like crazy. Just take the antiviral pills your doctor prescribed on time.
