Look, if you have gastritis, stop eating outside food, spicy pickles, and drinking tea on an empty stomach immediately. No home remedy will work if you keep damaging your stomach lining. Eat simple boiled food, drink coconut water, and go visit a doctor to get a proper course of antacids.

When gastritis pain strikes, doing high-intensity exercises can worsen the reflux, so keep it low-key. A light, slow 15-minute walk after your meals can actually help stimulate digestion and prevent the gas build-up that triggers gastritis pain. Just listen to your body and rest if it hurts.

Please don't blindly try every home remedy like drinking baking soda or raw ginger juice that you read online, as they can sometimes irritate your stomach lining even more. Gastritis needs a proper medical diagnosis to rule out H. pylori infection. Please consult a qualified doctor before starting any self-treatment.

Managing gastritis when you have diabetes is tricky because you cannot rely on sugary drinks or heavy biscuits to soothe your stomach. I find that having unsweetened cold milk or a small bowl of plain, unsweetened curd helps coat the stomach lining and reduces the burning sensation without affecting my glucose levels.

I was recently told I might have mild gastritis because of constant bloating. Is it true that drinking warm water with lemon makes it worse because of the acid? I am really new to this and want to make sure I don't eat the wrong things.

I started tracking my food triggers on an app and realized my gastritis flared up every time I skipped breakfast or had coffee early in the morning. To reduce the pain, try eating small, frequent meals instead of three heavy ones. Staying upright for at least 30 minutes after eating also helps keep the acid down.
