When you have a fever during pregnancy, your body needs light, nourishing vegetarian food that is easy to digest. Sip on warm vegetable broth or light moong dal soup to keep your energy up. Avoid any heavy spices or raw foods right now, and keep drinking plenty of warm water to flush out toxins naturally.

A fever means your body is already under physical stress, so please completely skip your daily walks or prenatal exercises for now. Rest is your absolute priority. Once your doctor confirms the fever is gone and gives the green light, you can slowly resume light stretching or gentle walking inside your room.

Being pregnant is exhausting enough, and adding a fever to it is just cruel! I spent my third trimester fever resting with cold washcloths on my forehead, trying to sleep while the baby kicked. Honestly, just lie down, let your partner do all the chores, and don't try to be a hero. Just get that sleep!

Please don't worry, have faith and stay positive, your body is strong and will heal soon. Take complete rest, listen to some soothing music, and drink warm water throughout the day. Take good care of yourself and let your doctor guide you on the safest way forward for you and the little soul inside.

I literally just recovered from a viral fever in my second trimester last week. My doctor told me that high body temperature isn't good for the baby, so she prescribed a safe pregnancy-friendly tablet to bring it down. Along with that, I just did lukewarm sponge baths and drank coconut water. Please talk to your doc immediately instead of waiting.

In times of physical illness during pregnancy, keeping your mind calm is very important. Lie down in a comfortable position, perhaps on your left side, and practice gentle, slow breathing to relax your muscles. Drinking warm, mild ginger-tulsi tea can help soothe your body while you rest and heal.

It is completely understandable to feel highly anxious about a fever during pregnancy, as you are worrying for two. But please take a deep breath. Try to cool your body down naturally with a damp cloth wipe and keep sipping water. Most importantly, call your obstetrician right away—hearing their expert advice will really help ease your mind.

Hey, I totally feel you, dealing with a fever when you are pregnant is so tough. To help you feel better, try wearing very light cotton clothes and keeping your room cool and airy. You can also use a cool compress on your neck and forehead. Keep taking small sips of water so you don't get dehydrated.
