Instantly? Unless you have a magic wand, the body takes its sweet time to cool down! But seriously, don't jump into a tub of ice water thinking it will cure you in a second, that will just shock your system. A gentle wipe-down with normal tap water and chilling under a slow fan is your best bet for quick comfort.

I know how scary it feels when the thermometer shows a high number and you just want it to go away right this second. The panic makes the fever feel even worse. Please take a deep breath. Try putting a cold compress on your forehead and resting in a dark room; letting go of the stress actually helps your body relax and cool down.

Let's be real, you cannot 'instantly' cure a fever naturally, it's a physiological process. To bring the temperature down quickly for comfort, do a lukewarm sponge bath of your entire body, especially the forehead, armpits, and groin. Put on very light cotton clothes and drink a large glass of water to help your body cool from the inside.

My grandmother always used to say that applying a paste of sandalwood on the forehead cools the body down quickly. While those traditional ways are soothing, I always trust our family doctor's advice first. If the fever is very high, please consult a doctor for proper medicine rather than trying to force it down instantly at home.

It is completely normal to feel extremely anxious when your temperature rises suddenly, I always fear the worst too. But trying to rush the recovery can sometimes backfire. Try to stay calm, wipe your body with a damp towel, and keep sipping water. If you feel dizzy or have chest pain, please don't wait and go to a clinic immediately.

To help your body cool down, avoid heavy, oily meals completely as digestion produces internal heat. Drink warm barley water or fresh coconut water which are naturally cooling and easy on the stomach. Eating light steamed foods like idli or simple rice gruel helps your body focus its energy on reducing the fever.

Bro, if you have a fever, do not try to 'sweat it out' with a workout, that is a huge myth and highly dangerous. Your body needs absolute rest right now to recover. Just focus on high hydration with electrolytes and water, sleep it off, and let your immune system do its job. Your muscles can wait for a few days.
