How to reduce ear infection pain?

I've had an ear infection for a few days, and the pain is really bothering me, especially at night. I've taken the antibiotics my doctor prescribed, but the pain is still there. What can I do to reduce ear infection pain?

Ear pain can be tricky, so keeping track of your symptoms is super helpful. If you have a fever or discharge, those are key things to log. For temporary relief, sitting in an upright position rather than lying down can help reduce the pressure and pain in the ear.

I was actually reading about this yesterday because my cousin has an ear ache. Apparently, applying a warm compress gently against the affected ear can help soothe the throbbing sensation. Just make sure no water actually goes inside the ear canal.

I completely panicked last winter when a sudden ear pain kept me awake all night, thinking my eardrum had ruptured. But the doctor told me it was just a mild middle-ear infection from a cold and gave me some ear drops. It cleared up in two days, so please don't worry.

Sarr, kaan ke dard mein kabhi bhi koi tel ya aisi cheez bina doctor se pooche mat dalna. Aap bas bahar se garm kapde ki sikai kar sakte hain, usse bohot aaram milta hai. Baki doctor babu ko zaroor dikha lein.

Oh man, ear pain is so annoying, but don't stress too much about it. Just take rest, keep your ears dry while taking a bath, and don't put any cotton buds inside. If it doesn't get better by tomorrow, just run to an ENT specialist, okay?

Beta, in my seventy years, I have seen many family members suffer from earaches during seasonal changes. Never poke anything sharp inside the ear to scratch it. Just keep the area warm and dry, and trust the doctor's medicine to heal the infection.

I know how exhausting it is when the sharp throbbing in your ear makes it impossible to focus, read, or even sleep. It physically drains you and makes you feel so irritable. Please be gentle with yourself, take some rest, and let a doctor take a look at it soon.

I had a terrible ear infection after swimming last summer, and the pressure was so painful. Placing a warm, dry towel over my ear really helped me sleep that night. Just make sure to see an ENT doctor so they can prescribe proper antibacterial drops.
