How to reduce dandruff naturally?

I've been trying to avoid chemical shampoos, but my dandruff is still a problem. My wife suggested trying some home remedies. Can anyone share how to reduce dandruff naturally?

While things like tea tree oil or apple cider vinegar rinses are popular, everyone's scalp skin is quite different. What works for one person might cause contact dermatitis in another. If you don't see any improvement within two weeks, it is best to consult a dermatologist.

Our skin health is closely linked to our internal digestive fire and stress levels. Daily practice of Kapalbhati and Anulom Vilom pranayama improves blood flow to the face and scalp. Along with a simple diet, this gentle internal cleansing naturally helps heal the scalp.

Beta, don't worry too much about this, I have seen this happen to generations in our family. Just wash your wooden combs regularly and apply a paste of soaked fenugreek seeds occasionally. It is a time-tested way to keep the scalp healthy without any modern chemical stuff.

Haan na, heavy chemicals use karne se baal bohot kharab ho jate hain. I just apply curd on my hair once a week before washing, it keeps the scalp so soft. Natural things take a little time but they are much safer for our hair, ho na.

As a practical tip, please make sure you wash your pillowcases in hot water at least once a week. Dandruff fungal spores can linger on your bedding and keep reinfecting your scalp. Keeping your hair brushes clean is just as important as any natural remedy you apply.

I literally just got over a bad phase of dandruff last month! I stopped applying heavy oils completely and started washing my hair with lukewarm water and a very mild, sulphate-free shampoo. Keeping my scalp dry and sweat-free worked wonders for me.

Yaar, actually I tried all those complex home remedies but they were so messy. Finally, just switching to aloe vera gel from my balcony plant worked out so well. It cools down the scalp and washes off so easily without any sticky feeling.
