How to reduce back muscle pain?

Been feeling a constant dull ache in my upper back muscles for the past few weeks, especially after long hours at my desk. It's getting a bit much now. Are there any stretches or home remedies that can help ease this muscle pain?

If it is a fresh muscular strain, apply an ice pack for the first 48 hours to bring down any inflammation. After two days, you can switch to a hot water bag to relax the stiff muscles. Avoid lifting any heavy buckets or bags until the spasm completely goes away.

My smartwatch keeps reminding me to stand up every hour, and honestly, that has fixed 80% of my lower back stiffness. Try tracking your active minutes and do gentle hamstring stretches twice a day. If your posture is off while working, no amount of pain spray is going to help long-term.

Sometimes general body stiffness and back pain can be linked to poor lifestyle habits and high blood pressure. I suggest getting a full health checkup done and keeping your stress levels low with deep breathing. Don't blindly pop painkillers for backaches as they can affect your blood pressure and kidneys over time.

I totally get it, back muscle spasms are absolutely exhausting and make even sitting up feel like a chore. Please take it very easy for a couple of days and don't push yourself to do heavy chores. Just resting with a warm heating pad under your lower back can bring so much comforting relief.

Sitting on hostel chairs for endless lectures completely wrecks my back. I just use a simple pain relief gel and sleep flat on a thin mattress without a pillow for a night. Usually, that and some light twisting stretches make me feel so much better by morning.

No need for fancy gadgets, just massage the area with warm mustard oil mixed with a little garlic. Have a cup of hot turmeric milk at night to reduce internal soreness. Make sure you don't bend forward from your waist to pick up things; always bend your knees instead.

Most back pain is just weak core muscles and terrible sitting posture at work. Get an ergonomic chair or put a hard cushion behind your lower back immediately. If the pain is shooting down your leg, stop looking for online tips and go see an orthopedic doctor today.
