Bro, my uncle has this and he uses an ice pack on his swollen knees whenever they flare up. It apparently reduces the swelling pretty fast. Just wrap ice in a towel, never put it directly.

Look, swelling means there is active inflammation inside. Stop eating deep-fried food and sugar immediately because they make it worse. Go to a rheumatologist and get proper medicine rather than just trying home hacks.

Haan na, joint swelling is so painful and frustrating. I always make sure my mother drinks warm water and we apply a warm crepe bandage on the swollen areas. It gives some relief, ho na.

I had some bad swelling after a joint injury and my physio told me to keep the leg elevated on a couple of pillows while sleeping. It really helps drain the fluid and brings the swelling down.

My teenager was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis and seeing her swollen joints was heartbreaking. We use cold gel packs which really soothe the area, and make sure she does her gentle stretching exercises daily.

The weather changes actually make the swelling so much worse, yaar. I usually drink ginger-turmeric tea in the evening and it works like a charm to reduce the joint puffiness.

Arthritis swelling shouldn't be ignored as it can lead to joint damage over time. While cold compresses can help temporarily, a proper clinical diagnosis from a rheumatologist is essential for long-term management.

Avoid heavy foods like rajma and urad dal at night as they increase body swelling and gas. A simple warm water foot soak with some salt is the most practical way to reduce swelling at home.

My hands were so swollen last month I couldn't even close them. My doctor prescribed me specific anti-inflammatory meds and told me to use cold fermentation. The swelling is totally gone now, so please consult your doctor.

It is so hard to avoid spicy Chinese and pickles, but my doctor told me that high sodium makes my joint swelling much worse. I have started eating low-salt home meals now, and honestly, my joints feel much lighter.

I totally get it, that tight and stiff feeling in the joints is so uncomfortable and painful. Just try to keep the joint slightly elevated and rest as much as you can until the inflammation subsides.

With PCOS, I try to avoid heavy medications unless absolutely necessary. I find that regular light walks and keeping my hydration levels high helps reduce my joint swelling. But please see what works for your own body.
