How to reduce arthritis pain in feet?

My feet have been aching a lot lately due to arthritis, making it hard to walk or even stand for long periods. I've tried some basic remedies, but they don't seem to help much. How can I reduce arthritis pain in my feet effectively?

You need to invest in proper orthotic shoes with good arch support immediately. Normal footwear will only worsen foot arthritis. Also, book a consultation with a podiatrist to get your gait checked.

Soaking your feet in warm water can reduce joint stiffness, and gentle ankle rotations help keep the blood flowing. If the pain is severe and you cannot walk, please see an orthopedic doctor instead of just taking random pain relievers.

My grandmother has foot arthritis and she swears by using a hot water bottle under her feet while sitting on the sofa. It looks really cozy and she says it cuts down the throbbing pain majorly.

I tried to ignore my foot pain and kept walking on it, which eventually led to a severe joint deformity that needed surgery. Please don't take foot pain lightly. Go get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan from a doctor.
