How to reduce acidity in urine?

I recently had a urine test, and the report showed my urine pH is a bit on the acidic side. My doctor just told me to keep an eye on it. Are there any natural ways or dietary changes I can make to reduce acidity in my urine?

Please don't try random home remedies you read online for this kind of issue. Highly acidic urine can mean many different things, from dehydration to kidney issues. Get a proper routine urine test and see a qualified doctor first.

I had this exact burning sensation last summer and it was miserable. The key is to drink at least 3-4 liters of water and add barley water (jau ka paani) to your daily routine. It cools down the body and flushes out the system perfectly.

I ignored the mild burning during urination for months, thinking it was just body heat, and ended up with a severe kidney stone that required hospitalization. Please don't ignore this. Go to a doctor and get a simple ultrasound done.

Hello dear. For reducing burning in urine, coconut water twice a day works wonderfully well as it is highly alkaline. Also, reduce spicy food and pickles for a few days. If the pain continues, please visit a clinic for a quick urine culture.

My fitness app has a hydration logger and I noticed my urine acidity symptoms stopped once I consistently logged 12 glasses of water a day. Reducing heavy protein shakes also helped balance things out. Try tracking your daily water intake for a week.

Does it also burn slightly every time you go to the bathroom, or is it just me? I am honestly very scared that it might be a major kidney infection. Did anyone else get relief just by drinking more fluids?

As someone managing blood pressure, I have to be careful with any changes in urination. Drinking enough water and limiting high-sodium foods helped me. Make sure to get your kidney function and BP checked regularly by your physician.
