Since my digestion is quite sensitive, I avoid dairy or oily foods completely after vomiting. I am not a doctor, but drinking warm ginger water in small amounts really helps calm my nausea. Just be gentle with your stomach.
I completely agree, taking tiny sips of electoral or coconut water slowly is the best way to settle your stomach.
Do not try to work out or run when you are recovering from vomiting, as your muscles are already dehydrated. Give your body a rest day and focus strictly on replenishing lost electrolytes. You can get back to light training once your food keeps down.
Vomiting is just the body's natural way of cleaning out something bad you ate, so do not worry. Give your stomach rest for a few hours, then start with soft curd rice or simple double-boiled rice water. You will feel perfectly fine by tomorrow.
After the vomiting stops, sit quietly and do gentle deep abdominal breathing to relax the stomach muscles. It helps release the tension in your diaphragm and relieves nausea. Take a few sips of warm water with a drop of mint extract.
Please take complete rest today. Sip some light glucose water slowly and do not force yourself to eat heavy meals.
