How to recognise a stroke?

Someone in our family had a stroke last year, and it was quite scary. I want to be aware. What are the clear signs or symptoms to look out for to recognise a stroke quickly? Every minute counts, I've heard.

While we use mild herbs for general daily health, a stroke is a very big emergency. If you see sudden numbness, slurred speech, or a drooping face, do not try any home remedies. Take the person to a big hospital immediately.

Sudden paralysis or bolne mein takleef hona stroke ke pakke lakshan hain, ho na? Aise waqt bilkul der nahi karni chahiye. Turant patient ko doctor ke paas emergency room mein le kar jana chahiye.

Just remember the FAST formula. F is for face drooping, A is for arm weakness on one side, S is for speech difficulty, and T is time to call emergency services. If you notice these, get to a stroke-ready hospital immediately.

With strokes, every single minute matters because brain cells die rapidly. If someone suddenly cannot raise both arms or speaks gibberish, don't call local clinics—drive them straight to the nearest multi-specialty hospital ICU.

I always get so scared when my hand feels slightly numb after sleeping on it. Is it true that a stroke causes sudden weakness on just one side of the face or body? How do we tell the difference quickly?

Recognizing the signs early can save a life. Look out for sudden facial drooping, weakness in the arm, or slurred speech, and please contact emergency services immediately if you see this.

I read that sudden confusion, difficulty walking, or loss of balance can also be signs of a stroke. Since this is highly critical, please don't wait for symptoms to improve on their own. Seek emergency medical care immediately.
